M & M Wedding

We went to Mark and Melissa Helmick's wedding. Mark and Reuben have been best friends since the 2nd grade. Reuben was a best man in his wedding. The wedding took place at Old Scotch Church in Hillsboro and the Reception at The Grand Lodge in Forest Grove. It was a great wedding, beautiful people, fun music, and lots of dancing!

Reuben's almost summit of Mt. Adams

Reuben’s best friend, Mark, wanted to summit Mt. Adams for his bachelor party. The four guys got together Friday, hiked to camp, and got up early Saturday morning to try to summit. The top is about 12,326 ft and an elevation climb of 6,700. The guys all came really close to the summit but due to the 3 mile hike the night before, were tired and decided that they would stop at about 9,300 ft. All in all, they enjoyed the fellowship with each other, guy bonding, and had a great experience. I am so proud of them all.

Outdoors in June

We have our first garden growing carrots, beets, beans, cucumbers, radishes, carrots, zucchini, onions, and lettuce. It is fun to watch them grow. Evelyn likes to harvest the radishes with us. Also we found that Evelyn likes to color with chalk all over our driveway. She sure is fun to watch play and grow. Sunshine and beautiful sunsets makes Hood River such a great place to be.
