My Birthday Extravaganza

This year my birthday was such a success. I woke up with cuddles from my little angel. What a great way to start out your birthday.

I then had lunch with the girls at 6th St. Bistro. Sarah, Kristin, Justin, Andria, Hayley, my Mom, Louise, Lana, and Bev joined me. It was such great company and great food. I look forward to hanging out with the girls.

Reuben took me out to dinner at the golf course. I had never been there and it was delicious! Might be my new favorite place here in Hood River (besides sushi). I loved not knowing where we were going. Reuben’s parents watched Evelyn so we could have a date night. After dinner we met the FAA gang for drinks at Double Mountain.

Friday we met lots of friends at the Rheinlander. Oh how I love their fondue! I was in heaven with all the great company and such amazing food.

After dinner we went over to Forbes and Kelly’s house for drinks and poker. A few friends came with us and we stayed up until the wee hours of the night. After sleeping over for the first time away from home with Evelyn, I realized many things that I should have packed. Next time I will be more prepared. The next morning we went to James and Lizz’s house for breakfast (by the time we woke up and got there it was more like lunch). Lizz made homemade buttermilk pancakes and we had eggs, bacon and hash-browns. It was delicious. Reuben and I both had a great time. It was much needed to get caught up with everyone.

On our way home we stopped in to see P.J. It was so nice to get to visit with him before he headed off to work. I miss my P.

What a great birthday it was, full of Friends, Family, Food, and lots of FUN. I would say it is one of the best birthdays I have had. Here is to another year full of memories and changes!
