Signs of Spring

We decided after church to go get our vegetables for our garden.  We cleaned up the raised beds and started planning out the layout.  We have so much to look forward to when things start to produce, tomatoes, radishes, carrots, bell peppers, peas, squash, eggplant, herbs, and MORE!

Evelyn loves being outside and I think she is going to love to garden. She had a blast digging, planting, and watering the plants.

Nothing better than being outside as a family!

Jaque's Birthday and Hanging with Friends

We met up in Portland to celebrate Jaque's birthday and also to see some friends. We had a blast watching the older kids play. We were also blessed to be able to swap clothes with Dede. Her first was a boy and second (born at the beginning of April) was a girl. We had just the opposite and we both kept the clothes from our first. We were able to swap the girl and boy clothes. Such a blessing it was for both of us.
Great times!!!

Big Sister and Baby Brother

Evelyn already has been such a good big sister.  She defiantly LOVES her baby brother. I hope and pray they continue to grow their friendship and have a strong bond growing up.

Travis' First Weeks

Just some photos of Travis and Family and Friends the first two weeks of his life!

Evelyn's Baby Violet

My “other Mom,” Nancy McAlary, got this baby for Evelyn for us to bring to her when we brought Travis home from the hospital.  It included all the necessities needed for a baby; diapers, wipes, bottles, clothes, bibs, hats, blankets, etc. It also had a book that I remember reading as a child (Baby Dear) that is a Golden Book.  It tells the story about how Mommy and Daddy brought home a baby and how the little girl got a baby just her own too. In the book, the little girl does the same thing as the Mommy like feeding, changing diapers, etc.  Evelyn LOVED it.  She calls her Violet and doesn’t go to bed without getting Violet ready just like we get Travis ready for bed.

She is already a GREAT BIG SISTER!
