Evelyn's Godparents & her Madrina

We are so happy to announce Evelyn's God parents - Traci and Jason Kenitzer and Evelyn's Madrina (Italian for Godmother) - Holley McAlary. We are so blessed to have them mentor Evelyn as she grows up. All three of them have already been great influences on her and we know she will be able to go to them for anything she might need.

We love you guys!!!

Evelyn's first time at the coast and meeting her Great Grandma

We went to Depot Bay this weekend to introduce Evelyn to her Great Grandmother Grace Marion Betts. It was so wonderful to see the relationship the two of them had. Great Grandma just loved sitting and watching Evelyn.

We also took Evelyn to the Oregon Coast for the first time. We could not have asked for better weather. It was sunny and just a nice cool breeze. Evelyn LOVED the sand. I think LOVED is an understatement. She would not stop trying to eat it. Every time we tried to pick her up from the sand she would fuss. It looks like there is a sandbox in our near future. Evelyn also did a great job with her feet in the water. Reuben brought his video camera and we got some great footage of her first visit to the coast.

We need to go back soon!

Evelyn's Expressions

She makes the cutest faces. I am in aww of how fast she is growing and learning. She has two bottom teeth now and can sit up on her own. She is using M & D sounds but not yet said Mama or Dada in full. What will she say first?

Baby Massage Party

I had some great women and their little ones get together for a lunch and to learn how to give our babies massages. It was great to get to enjoy their company and also to be around so many little babies.

I can't wait to get together again soon!

Child Birth Class Reunion

It was great to get all the families together that were in the child birth class and introduce our newest additions. We all get along so well I can't wait to spend more time with these great families!

Evelyn was the oldest one there by a few days and then it went on down to about 1.5 months younger than her. She was such a character in showing off her skills to the younger kids :)

Cali trip 2010 to see the Kenitzers

So instead of me reposting duplicate pictures of our trip (because Traci did such a wonderful job on her blog) go to the following links to see the great time we had in Cali with the Kenitzers.

We introduced Evelyn and Kaiser (11 days older than her) for the first time. It was such a blessing.

I can't wait to see them again real soon!!!
